We looking forward to putting on an in-person GeoPlace conference that meets your needs. We’re back in London, on 22nd May for the event that combines guidance, best practice, hands-on support, inspiration, collaboration, social events and exceptional food and drink!
Our venue allows us to run multiple sessions, so that we can provide the content that you need to make coming to the event a great investment of your time.
You’ve told us that you want to see the return of roundtable sessions, and a bigger focus on what other Custodians are doing across Great Britain.

Roundtables
What would you like to discuss in the roundtable sessions?
Roundtables are a 15 minute interactive and facilitated session and provide an opportunity to share experiences, brainstorm solutions, and exchange ideas with peers. Designed to foster collaboration and deeper engagement, roundtables are a valuable platform for networking and gaining perspectives on the challenges and opportunities in issues such as gazetteer management, integration challenges or working with colleagues across your authority or with partners.

Call for Lightning Talk Proposals: 7 for 7 at the GeoPlace Conference
Are you ready to showcase your innovative ideas and success stories for the benefit of fellow Custodians or SNN Officers?
We’re calling for innovators to take the stage in our ‘7 for 7’ Lightning Talks session at the GeoPlace conference. This dynamic session will feature seven presenters, each delivering a seven-minute talk with seven slides, all aligned to this year’s theme: ‘Connecting people and places’.
We’re looking for engaging presentations that spotlight the power of address and street information. Share how this data has:
- Transformed service delivery to citizens Lightning talks at the GeoPlace conference
- Generated valuable insights
- Delivered unexpected benefits
- Integrated systems
- Solved a pressing user need
- Saved money or improved efficiency
- Introduced innovative approaches
Or perhaps:
- Did your project achieve remarkable results?
- Have you uncovered significant learnings worth sharing?
- How did you secure buy-in for your work?
- Do you have a passionate rant about an industry pain point?
Submission details:
Seven talks will be chosen from amongst those submitted. Submit your presentation title and a 100-word summary to Gayle Gander by 7th February.
