Management systems' standards
GeoPlace’s work revolves around quality, accuracy, and security. We use a Quality Management System (QMS) that’s certified and audited by BSI Management Systems (BSI), helping us to meet BS EN ISO 9001:2015. Our most recent recertification in November 2023 takes us through to the start of 2027.
We also run an Information Security Management System (ISMS) that’s audited by BSI, helping us to meet BS EN ISO 27001:2013. This system’s certification runs through to October 2025.
Using standards in our work
Our QMS and ISMS are integral to the management of our business. We use these systems as we provide ‘information management and consultancy services to the public and private sectors, relating to address location information and street information'.
Adopting these standards helps us to derive the maximum benefit for our business and, as a consequence, to deliver optimum outcomes for every organisation accessing our data and services.

Cyber essentials
GeoPlace is certified as being Cyber Essentials compliant. Cyber Essentials is a government-backed cyber security certification scheme that sets out a baseline of cyber security suitable for all organisations. The scheme's five security controls can prevent around 80% of cyber-attacks.
